It’s fascinating to see how Christians around the world have responded to an event like the Trump administration’s decision to enter into the war between Iran and Israel by bombing nuclear sites in Iran. These followers of Jesus are relying on the same traditions and reading the same Bible, and yet taking very different positions.

These range from unconditional support for the bombings based on the defense of Israel to condemnation of aggression based on the teachings of Jesus. Let’s unpack these differences.
